Bryant Contractors, Inc. (BCI) has been family-owned and operated since 1962 when Harold Bryant purchased the company. In 1964, after the big earthquake that caused a large part of downtown Anchorage to fall into the inlet and a tidal wave caused fishing boats in Kodiak to land in the middle of the streets, Harold brought his crew out to move the vessels back into the harbor. He also moved the majority of the buildings from the old Valdez townsite to the new townsite. These days, Harold’s son, Jubal, owns the company. With other family members on the crew—this team is inseparable and unbeatable.

BCI has over 59 years of experience raising and relocating hundreds of buildings (both large and small) focusing on safety and attention to detail. We use the latest technologies to successfully complete structural moving projects across the state, in population-dense cities like Anchorage, and in smaller areas such as Point Lay, Point Hope, and other North Slope communities. BCI specializes in addressing the unique challenges presented by the Alaska environment, including heavy snowstorms, permafrost, high winds, rain, and ice.

Owner and president of Bryant Contractors, Inc., since 1990, Jubal, supervises a staff of between 3 and 10 employees. Jubal has extensive knowledge of moving and/or leveling extremely heavy objects, both residential and commercial. Jubal has over 59 years of experience raising and relocating hundreds of buildings both large and small, focusing on safety and attention to detail. He focuses on applying his knowledge and experience to various projects statewide. Near or far, Bryant Contractors will assist with raising and relocating your structures safely and securely.

The company has full knowledge of RFP’s, bids, permitting, billing, receivables, and payroll.
